Accessibility

Built so every family can use it.

Accessibility is part of our family-safety philosophy, not an afterthought. A family-safety resource that some families can’t use protects no one — so we design this site to be usable by everyone, and we work toward strong WCAG 2.2 AA alignment wherever practical.

01

Keyboard navigation

Every page can be navigated with the keyboard alone, and every interactive element shows a visible focus outline.

02

Screen readers & landmarks

The site uses proper heading structure, labeled forms, meaningful link names, and descriptive alt text — and treats decorative images as decorative.

03

Contrast & readability

Text keeps strong contrast against its background, and body copy stays at a comfortably readable size on every screen.

04

Motion, with respect

Gentle motion is used sparingly, and it is reduced or removed entirely when your device requests reduced motion.

05

Mobile-first, for everyone

Tap targets are sized for thumbs, nothing relies on a hover action, and the key actions are always within reach.

06

Plain language

We write the way a thoughtful person speaks to a family — clear, calm, and free of unnecessary jargon.
